Opportunities to gather and to share their interest in family histories and genealogies, to help and encourage each other in research, and to continuously develop facilities and resources to record and preserve our past.

MEMBERSHIP:

To become a member of the NZ Society of Genealogists Nelson Branch, email nelson@genealogy.org.nz or come along to a meeting.

Benefits of joining the Nelson Branch:
Assistance will be provided at Ancestors Attic Library to all with genealogy/family history research. Requests can also be made in writing to the branch email address above.
Monthly meetings with interesting speakers on family history topics.
You can borrow from the library ‘Ancestors Attic’. Extensive collection of Nelson related books as well as how to research.
Access to data bases of over half a million Nelson Tasman names which is held on the libraries computers much of this not held elsewhere.
Access to the Scottish Interest Group and the Legacy Group meetings.
