Fowler 6760
6hp SC class A3 of 1892 owned new by A Lindsay of Thornbury
R Crawford of Mataura 1901 then to Nelson area:
Win Bros of Dovedale 1906
Hollis Bros of Wakefield 1918
Ingram & Lewis of Flat Creek 1923
Higgins & Brownlee of Havelock 1923
D Higgins of Havelock 1925
Hills & Papps of Opouri Valley 1926
Andrews & Jones of Havelock 1937
R Andrews of Havelock 1939
McClennan Bros of Long Valley 1940
The boiler still exists and is now in Jeff Rowberry's Collection in Blenheim.
Double tee rims on the front wheels are unusual.
The owners at the time of the picture would most definitely be Win Bros of Dovedale, not far from Stanley Brook where the family names mentioned lived. They are cutting chaff. This dates it 1906-1918.
